Theo Brettell

Architectural Assistant

Theo joined Coeus in 2025 after graduating with first class honours in architecture (RIBA Part I) from the University of Sheffield. His final-year project, Plant, Pick, Cook, Eat – A School of Food Proposal for Wakefield (2024), was awarded UK regional winner in the Global Undergraduate Awards.

In 2022, he was awarded the University’s International Exchange Scholarship, which directly informed his dissertation on critical regionalism in South Asian housing townships of the 1960s–1980s. Driven by a commitment to place-sensitive, high-quality design, Theo brings a creative yet grounded approach to his work. At Coeus, he is focused on contributing to projects that combine design excellence with practical, hands-on problem-solving.
